IRWINDALE – Southern California Edison has established a $100,000 fund to aid victims and family members affected by Friday’s shooting at its Irwindale offices.
The company reopened its Irwindale offices Tuesday just days after Edison analyst Andre Turner, 48, opened fire on five supervisors, killing two of them, before taking his own life.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has released the 911 tapes from the incident. Listen below to a portion of the tapes:
Detectives have learned that Turner had been reprimanded for missing an audit deadline, but it was not clear when the reprimand was delivered to him.
Turner allegedly was also having difficulty holding on to his Norco home.
He and his wife were reportedly involved in a short sale of the home.
