3 Brothers, 11-Year-Old Killed In Fontana Crash
FONTANA (AP) — Three adult brothers in a sport utility vehicle and an 11-year-old passenger in a Honda are dead after the vehicles collided in a Southern California intersection.
The San Bernardino County Sun says the Chevrolet Suburban veered off Baseline Avenue in Fontana and slammed into a power pole on Sunday night.
The coroner’s office says the SUV driver, a 35-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man, and a 39-year-old passenger from Bloomington were dead at the scene. A 37-year-old passenger from Fontana died at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.
All three are brothers, but the coroner hasn’t released names because relatives haven’t been notified.
Investigators say 11-year-old Noah Ferrer of Fontana died in surgery early Monday at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.
