Swipes for the Homeless

A few years ago, a UCLA student had an idea on how to help people in need and began collecting unused student meal “swipes” and distributed the food to the underserved. Bryan Pezeshki, now a senior at the Westwood campus, founded “Swipes for the Homeless.” The program provides food for students struggling on campus and has spread to over 10 universities both in the U.S. and abroad.

KFWB’s Maggie McKay and Michael Shappee spoke with Pezeshki:
