Allergy season hits early in L.A.
KFWB’s Phil Hulett and Penny Griego discovered that allergy season has arrived earlier than expected. And, according to the Centers for Disease Control, it’s combining with a later than expected flu season.Dr. Philip Perlman, an ear, nose and throat specialist, says a lot of people are getting springtime allergies, but they are confused with winter colds because of the mild weather. The mild winter with little rain means there’s a lot of pollen in the air.
