Japanese-American WWII students sought

The University of Southern California has joined the Nisei College Diploma Project to track down surviving Japanese-American students and grant them honorary degrees. The students’ college careers were interrupted when they were sent to World War II internment camps. The project has found about half of the approximately 2,500 students, but it’s estimated that many more attended private universities, such as USC.
