Movie trailer pulled after Trayvon Martin shooting
(AP) — Any other time, there would be nothing controversial about the movie “Neighborhood Watch” releasing a trailer and putting up posters.
But because it’s happening so soon after a neighborhood watch captain allegedly shot and killed Trayvon Martin, the studio will be phasing out the movie’s trailer and posters across the country.
It’s already been done in Florida where the shooting took place. The movie stars Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, who play neighborhood watch volunteers who battle aliens.
