High speed rail won't go to the OC
The state’s proposed high-speed rail line between San Francisco and Southern California will not run all the way down to Orange County.
Rail officials say running the line all the way down to Anaheim would only save 10 minutes of travel time, but cost $6 billion of the $68 billion total price tag for the project.
Instead, the line will run to and end in Los Angeles. The announcement is a disappointment to Disney officials who were lobbying for the train to reach Orange County.
