(AP) – A spring storm has dropped more than an inch of rain in some areas of Southern California and the Central Coast and left several inches of snow in the mountains.
Most of the storm moved through the Los Angeles area by midmorning Wednesday but rain continues to the east in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
The National Weather Service says 4 inches of snow was reported at Mountain High northeast of Los Angeles.
Rainfall totals near midday include .73 inch in downtown Los Angeles, 1.17 inches in Ventura, 1.52 inches in Santa Barbara and .82 inch in San Luis Obispo. San Diego has just over a tenth of an inch.
Thursday will be dry and cool, but another storm will bring more rain and snow Thursday night and Friday.
