Light-rail line opened today in L.A.
(CNS) – Getting around Los Angeles without a car got a little easier this morning when the Expo Line trains started rolling on 7.6-miles of track between downtown L.A., USC and the Westside. The newly opened line will eventually make its way into Santa Monica.
For now, riders can go as far west as La Cienega and Jefferson Boulevards. This summer the light-rail line will push another mile or so west to a new station at Venice and Robertson.
