(CNS) – Veteran Major League Baseball executive Bob Wolfe, a former Washington Nationals vice president, was named today executive vice president of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The move reunites Wolfe with Dodgers President and CEO Stan Kasten. The pair worked together with the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association.
“Bob was integral to the success we enjoyed in Atlanta and Washington, and his experience and skill at implementing improvements will be most welcome as we move forward with our work here in Los Angeles,” Kasten said.
Wolfe began working with the Braves in 1980. He was executive vice president of the Nationals from 2006-11.
