(CNS) – Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today it has been awarded a contract to support the design and implementation of soil and groundwater cleanups at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
The contract has a five-year ordering period with a potential value of $91 million, according to Jacobs.
“Jacobs has actively supported NASA’s environmental remediation program at KSC since 1998 through contracts with other federal agencies,” said. Jacobs Group Vice President Terry Hagen.
“We are honored to have been chosen by NASA/KSC to provide services directly to them, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue helping the Environmental Assurance Branch achieve their environmental goals in preparing KSC for the next generation of space flight,” he said.
