(AP) – Authorities report they found more than salvation in one copy of the Good Book. Two men are now charged with trying to use a Bible to sneak drugs into the Izard County, Arkansas, jail. Sheriff Lawrence Tate says narcotic pain-killer pills were hidden inside the lining of the Bible’s cover. He adds the Bible was to be delivered to Jeffrey Chase Moser, who was already locked up. According to authorities, Brandon Joe Gillaspie put the pills inside the Bible. TV station KAIT reports the two men now face conspiracy and several drug-related charges.
