LA-area stolen Jaguar pursuit ends with crashes
(AP) – Los Angeles police say a stolen Jaguar struck two vehicles – causing one to overturn – during a chase into neighboring Inglewood. The driver was taken into custody and two people in the other vehicles were treated for minor injuries after the Thursday morning crash.
LAPD officers began chasing the Jaguar shortly before 7:30 a.m.
In Inglewood, the car hit the back of a pickup truck, which flipped onto its roof. The Jaguar then crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a minivan head-on.
Police spokesman Richard French says the Jaguar’s driver wasn’t hurt but two people from the pickup and van were examined at a hospital. One had minor cuts and the other complained of chest pain.
