LA bomb squad checks out suspected pot warehouse
(AP) – Los Angeles police have sent in a bomb squad to check out a Van Nuys warehouse that may be a booby-trapped marijuana farm. Officer Rosario Herrera says a report of an open door sent officers to the building at around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say they discovered what may be a marijuana growing operation inside the building but they also spotted some sort of wires near the front of the building. Herrera says police suspect some kind of booby-trap and a bomb squad will investigate.
