Back to school anxiety about bullying (audio)
Back to school time brings lots of anxiety for both parents and children — especially for those who worry about bullying. Jonathan Hewitt, author of “Life Ki-do Parenting: Tools to Raise Happy, Confident Kids from the Inside Out,” aims to arm parents with four basic but critical life skills to teach their children to develop happiness and confidence from inside out.
He says that four critical life skills — focus, confidence, resilience and social intelligence — can be taught to combat childhood stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, focus issues, and low self-esteem. He spoke with KFWB’s Maggie McKay and Michael Shappee:
