BURBANK (CNS) – Talk show host Phil McGraw sought the public’s help today to find his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, which was stolen from a Burbank auto repair shop.

McGraw was driving the car on Sunday when it broke down, said Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Lt. Dominic Valencia of the multi-agency Taskforce for Regional Autotheft Prevention.

The car was towed to RODZ at 2800 N. San Fernando Road, but someone broke into the business later that evening and stole the car, Valencia said.

A $1,000 reward has been offered by the repair shop for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever stole the car and the return of the vehicle, which is black with a red interior.

Anyone with information about the theft was asked to call Valencia at (800) 299-8727.
