LOS ANGELES (AP) – An actress who appears in the anti-Muslim film that has sparked riots in the Middle East is suing the filmmaker and Google to try to get the movie’s trailer removed online. The lawsuit by Cindy Lee Garcia also claims fraud by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the man behind the film who has been forced into hiding since its 14-minute trailer rose to prominence last week.

Garcia claims she was unaware of the film’s anti-Muslim content and that the pages of the script she received had no mention of the prophet Muhammad. Her lawsuit states she responded to an ad for an ancient Egyptian adventure film.

Her lawsuit states she has received death threats and can no longer visit her grandchildren.

Google did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
