KFWB's Rhonda Kramer receives Golden Pylon Award
The 16th Annual Golden Pylon Awards were presented to the region’s top traffic reporters today. The awards honor the true-grit reporters whose on-air traffic reports keeps the region’s traffic moving by promoting ride share options.
KFWB’s Rhonda Kramer, who has been with the station since 1983, was one of the recipients this year. She began her radio career in 1979 at KFOX-FM in Redondo Beach. When 93 KHJ changed to a country format in 1980, she was called upon to fly in their airplane to provide on-air traffic reports — and she’s been doing just that ever since.
