ISLAMABAD (AP) – Riot police and army troops in Pakistan’s capital have been trying to keep more than 2,000 demonstrators out of the area where the U.S. Embassy is located. The State Department is warning Americans to avoid non-essential travel to Pakistan as protests over an anti-Islam video grow. Meanwhile, ads condemning the video have been appearing on Pakistani television. The ads end with the seal of the American Embassy in Islamabad, but officials at embassy are not commenting.
