Obama, Romney campaign in Virginia
WASHINGTON (AP) – Mitt Romney’s campaign is keeping up its focus on the national debt — saying that in the two minutes that it takes to view the Obama campaign’s new TV ad, the debt grows by at least $5 million.
In the new ad, President Barack Obama promotes what is billed as a “new economic patriotism” — with an economic plan that he says will create 1 million manufacturing jobs, cut oil imports and hire thousands of new teachers.
Obama and Romney are campaigning in the same state for a third-straight day today. This time they’ll be in Virginia, a critical battleground in the Nov. 6 election.
The two had an all-day duel yesterday in Ohio over who can do better on the economy.
