Beachgoers pull body of snorkeler to shore
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (AP) – Beachgoers pulled the body of an Orange County snorkeler to shore after he apparently drowned.
The Los Angeles Times says visitors at Laguna Beach saw the man in his 50s go into the water Thursday afternoon.
Police Lt. Jason Kravetz says the same group saw him floating in the water, wearing his snorkel gear, about two hours later and they pulled him to shore.
The man, whose name hasn’t been released, was pronounced dead on the beach. He’s believed to be an Orange County resident.
