LAX investigation of unattended items
LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Unattended items found at a gate at Los Angeles International Airport where an Israeli airliner was parked prompted a response today by the police bomb squad, which determined there was no threat.
Airport police officers were sent to the Tom Bradley International Terminal about 11:40 a.m., said airport police Sgt. Belinda Nettles.
“Airport police temporarily evacuated the area,” she said. “The item was cleared by the LAPD bomb squad at 12:57 p.m. The items were gel and a bottle of water.”
