On Saturday night, the Utah Jazz defeated the Clippers 99-91 in Salt Lake City. The Clippers held Blake Griffin, Caron Butler, Willie Green, Grant Hill, and Lamar Odom out of the lineup. The Clippers outshot the Jazz from the field 52% to 42% but missed 15 free throws in a game they lost by eight.
Matt Barnes continued his standout pre-season, leading the Clippers with 22 points on nine of 14 shooting from the field. Chris Paul had 17 points, eight assists, and four steals. Eric Bledsoe scored 14 off the bench, and DeAndre Jordan added 13 points and nine rebounds.
The Clippers are 2-3 on the pre-season and will next host the Golden State Warriors on Monday night at STAPLES Center. Clippers Countdown begins at 7 on KFWB News Talk 980 and the Clippers Radio Network with tip-off just after 7:30.
