Body in taxi found outside burning San Dimas home
SAN DIMAS, Calif. (AP) – Authorities have found a dead man in a taxicab outside of a burning home east of Los Angeles.
Firefighters went to a home in San Dimas shortly after 5 a.m. Monday. It took them about 30 minutes to knock down the fire, which left most of the home in ashes.
The body was found shot to death inside a cab parked outside the home.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Alan Smith tells City News Service it’s unclear how he died but it could be from a self-inflicted wound. However, the investigation continues.
