Pedestrian killed on Venice Blvd.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car today on Venice Boulevard between La Brea and Fairfax avenues, police reported.

That stretch of Venice Boulevard was closed to traffic about 9 a.m. for the accident investigation.

The circumstances of the collision were not immediately known, including whether the unidentified pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time, said Los Angeles police Officer Venus Hall.
