Clippers trounce Warriors

The Clippers trounced the Golden State Warriors 87-71 on Monday evening at STAPLES Center to even their pre-season record at 3-3. The Clippers used a 13-0 first quarter run to take command of the game and never looked back. They held the Warriors to 33% shooting from the field, and scored 24 points off 22 Golden State turnovers. The Clippers, who came in averaging 21 turnovers per game during the pre-season, committed just 13 on the night and just three in the entire first half.
DeAndre Jordan’s stellar pre-season continued. He led all Clippers with 18 points. He also had 12 rebounds (six offensive) and three blocks on eight of 11 shooting from the field. Blake Griffin added 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Chris Paul had nine assists with just one turnover.
