No trick-or-treating at White House
WASHINGTON (AP) – There’s no trick-or-treating at the White House this Halloween. The President and first lady normally hand out goodies to area students and military children in the White House driveway.
But the tradition has been put off this year because of superstorm Sandy. The treats won’t go to waste. They’re being delivered to the military office and schools in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
