LA names intersection after Ray Bradbury
LOS ANGELES (AP) – A downtown Los Angeles intersection has been designated Ray Bradbury Square in honor of the late author.
A sign bearing the name of the “The Martian Chronicles” author was unveiled at 5th and Flower streets on Thursday.
The intersection is near the Central Library. City News Service reports that Bradbury’s daughter Susan Nixon said her father spent several days a week at the library reading everything he could.
Bradbury died on June 5 at age 91.
