President Obama makes it clear, UN Ambassador Susan Rice will remain a “key member” of his cabinet and national security team. Rice told NBC News that she has withdrawn her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

The President also issued stern criticism to Republicans who fought a possible Rice nomination.
