Remember Manny Ramirez who had a spectacular yet troubled stint with the Dodgers in his 22 year career? He’s 40 and has had trouble latching on to another Major League team after a drug suspension. But he’s now happy to report that he’s signed a deal with the EDA Rhinos. You know. The team that plays in Taiwan.
It seems Taiwan’s professional baseball league consists of only four teams having been whittled down from a high of nine in 2008 because of a series of bribery and game-fixing scandals.
This could be the one baseball league where Manny is tame by comparison.
