Here are the news maker interviews you missed (or want to hear again) from this morning’s edition of LA’s Morning News with Penny Griego and Phil Hulett.

5:30 a.m. – Meet the Press Moderator, NBC’s David Gregory gave his analysis of North Korea’s nuclear war threats, immigration reform,  and gun laws, then he shifted gears and gave his opinion, as a raging Dodgers fan, about yesterday bench-clearing brawl between the Boys in the Blue and the Padres.

6:30 a.m. – CNN’s Candy Crowley, host of “State of the Union” gave us her take on North Korea and the pressing legislation in Congress.

7:12 a.m. – AP Sports Correspondent Jim Militello checked in from The Masters golf tournament in Augusta, GA. The 2nd Round is under way. Jim offered a special look at a 14-year old golfer from China who is wowing the gallery.

7:42 a.m. – Fandango‘s Harry Medved gave us a preview of this weekend’s offerings at the local cineplex, including “42,” and “Scarey Movie 5.”  Plus, you might be surprised which of the coming summer blockbusters is the most anticipated.

8:32 a.m. – Superbowl champion, former New York Giants wide receiver, Amani Toomer made his KFWB debut this morning to tell Phil Hulett, Lisa Osborn and Bret Lewis all about his new show, “The Amani and Eytan Show” which will air live, weeknights on KFWB from 7-10.  Amani commented on the Clippers run to the post season, the Dodger/Padre brawl and more.
