SANTA ANA, CA (KFWB) – Radio personalities, pet enthusiasts and friends remembered Gary Lycan on Friday at a memorial service for the longtime Orange County Register radio columnist. Lycan died April 9 following a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 68.
Mickey Czegledy and Manny Pacheco, broadcasters who were also friends of Lycan, organized the gathering at The Orange County Register offices.
The OC Register’s Peter Larson spoke with Phil Hulett and Lisa Osborn on LA’s Morning News after Lycan’s death to reminisce about the man who will be remembered as ‘radio’s biggest cheerleader.’
