Brush fire in Topanga under control
TOPANGA (CNS) – A quarter-acre of brush burned today in Topanga, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported at 3:59 p.m. near 4700 Topanga Canyon Blvd., said Shawn Lenske of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
With 53 firefighters on the scene, the flames were under control in 30 minutes, Lenske said.
No structures were involved, and no injuries were immediately reported, Lenske said.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
