MARINA DEL REY (CNS) – A magnitude-3.0 earthquake centered one mile southeast of Marina del Rey jolted the Southland today, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The quake struck at 2:08 p.m. two miles north of El Segundo and three miles west of Inglewood, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor delivered a quick jolt that could be felt in West Los Angeles, Hollywood, Redondo Beach and Studio City.
Two other recent Southland earthquakes were also centered in Marina del Rey. A magnitude-2.8 quake struck around 8 p.m. April 28, and a magnitude-3.2 quake hit in the area around 8 p.m. April 26.
