Here are the news maker interviews you missed (or want to hear again) from this morning’s edition of LA’s Morning News with Penny Griego and Phil Hulett.

5:32 a.m. – Attorney General Eric holder goes on the hot seat today to answer questions about the Justice Department secretly seizing phone records from the Associate Press.  Congressional committee Members are also expected to ask about the investigation into IRS officers targeting conservative groups for added scrutiny.

6:12 a.m. – OJ Simpson takes the stand today in a Las Vegas courtroom where he hopes to gain his freedom. He’s serving a jail sentence in connection with an armed confrontation in a hotel room over sports memorabilia. KFWB Legal analyst Royal Oakes gave us a preview.

6:42 a.m. – When will your grown up child grow up and leave the nest? Penny and Phil speak with a Doctor who wrote a book about this common and growing phenomenon.

7:02 a.m. – Addiction Specialist Dr. Adi Jaffee offered his perspective on the NTSB proposal to lower the legal blood alcohol limit from .08 to .05 for drunk driving.

7:32 a.m. – NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman explained her proposal for states to adopt a .05 Blood Alcohol content level for DUI.

8:12 a.m. – The Deals Diva checked in with why May is a great month to find great deals on everything from bikinis to refrigerators.

8:32 a.m. – Former NBA Coach and current NBC Sports Radio Basketball analyst says all these playoffs are just a prelude to giving the title to Miami.
