It’s UNOFFICIALLY summer and time to get outdoors. On Saturday, June 1, you can spend the day checking out musical and dance performances, art workshops, food trucks, cooking demonstrations, fitness classes and more at the 22nd annual Santa Monica festival.

A Chef Challenge features chef Josie Le Balch of Josie Restaurant and returning champion chef Nyesha Arrington of Wilshire Restaurant creating a tasty meal for a family of four under $15. 11 am–6 pm. Or if cars are your thing, the Farmer’s Market on 3rd and Fairfax is the place to be on Saturday at the Gilmore Heritage Auto Show.

The casual classic and vintage American car show celebrates its 19th year with a tribute to Avanti. View more than 100 classic and vintage American cars and trucks, including a number of the very rare and avant garde Avantis.
