The Los Angeles Clippers will tip-off their 2013-14 NBA regular season schedule on Tuesday, October 29 at STAPLES Center as the visiting team against the Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 p.m. in a nationally televised game on TNT.

Because of increased demand, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, August 7 at 12:00 p.m. PT for the first time in team history. Approximately 1,000 tickets will be on sale per game.

The Clippers play 10 of their first 16 games at STAPLES Center, starting their home schedule on Halloween night when they take on the Golden State Warriors. Other STAPLES Center highlights to start the season is a tilt against Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets on Monday, Nov. 4, a matchup with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and a contest against Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The Clippers’ 29 nationally televised games is the second-highest number in franchise history, with the Clippers scheduled to appear twice on ABC, 10 times on TNT, nine times on ESPN and eight times on NBA TV.

Other memorable games on the schedule include the only home game against playoff rival Memphis on Monday, Nov. 18 and the lone visit of the season from the NBA Champion Miami Heat on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs visit STAPLES Center on Dec. 16 and Feb. 18, while the Clippers host the Boston Celtics on Jan. 8 and the New York Knicks on Nov. 27. The Clippers will play the Golden State Warriors on the road on Christmas Night.

The Clippers will play 17 sets of back-to-back games in 2013-14 and have five road trips of three games or more, including two seven-game road swings (Dec. 4-14 and Jan. 17-27). It is the first time since 2004-05 that there have been two road trips of seven or more games in the same season. The longest home stretch for the team is five games, which happens twice during the season (Feb. 5-18 and April 3-15).

Los Angeles faces every team in the Western Conference a total of four times (two home and two away), with the exception of the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and the Utah Jazz who they will play three times each.

To purchase tickets for any of the Clippers home games, fans can visit www.clippers.com, www.ticketmaster.com or call 800-4NBA-TIX.  Tickets can also be purchased at Ticketmaster Centers including select Wal-Mart locations, La Curacao and The Beverly Center.  Due to high ticket demand, you may only purchase a maximum of four (4) tickets to each home game.  The best way to guarantee your seat to the biggest games is to purchase Full or Half Season Tickets or a Big Game Plan by calling 213-742-7555.
