Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. It was the day that Martin Luther King Jr. described his dream that someday people would be judged not by their race but by their character.

But a new survey of Americans find that whites and blacks have very different opinions about the gains African Americans have made toward that dream.

Phil Hulett and Lisa Osborn spoke with Dr. Jerome Rabow, professor emeritus of sociology at UCLA to take a closer look at racial equality in America today:
