Facebook revises facial recognition
Facebook is making it a lot easier for you to be identified among your friends and even strangers. The social media giant has started including profile pictures to its existing facial recognition technology.
Up until now, Facebook has only used facial recognition to help users tag photos based on images in previously tagged photos.
KFWB’s Lisa Osborn and Michael Shappee asked Internet privacy and security lawyer Parry Aftab if the average Facebook user should be concerned about the expanded use of facial recognition software.
