If you haven’t visited the Mark Taper in downtown L.A. lately, here’s a good reason to go now: It’s a show called “Humor Abuse” and it runs through November 3rd.

Backstage life lessons fly fast and funny for Lorenzo Pisoni when he joins the family business – San Francisco’s Pickle Family Circus – at the age of six, earning his clown college stripes (and polka dots) through on-the-job training with his exacting father as his role model, guru and comic foil.
