MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) – More than 100 people were arrested at weekend rave in Northern California, mostly for drug offenses and drunkenness.

Mountain View Police Lieutenant Chris Hsiung says most of those arrested at the Beyond Wonderland concert were charged with furnishing or using illegal drugs such as Ecstasy, LSD and the stimulant GHB.

The San Jose Mercury News reports police also arrested some people for drunkenness and others wanted on outstanding warrants.

Hsiung says no major medical emergencies were reported at the concert at Shoreline Amphitheater, where about 40,000 electronic music fans gathered over two days.

The newspaper says several years ago, two people died of drug overdoses at a Memorial Day rave at the Cow Palace.
