For the ADULTS who love scary movies to get in the mood for Halloween, at 7:30 in Santa Monica at the iconic Aero Theater on Montana Ave it’s the Beyond Fest 2013, featuring the “best in horror, Sci-Fi, fantasy and badass cinema,” American Cinematheque and Amity will present a double feature of “The Howling” and “The Wolf Man.” The Nerdist Writers Panel and Trainers From Hell will present a talk in between films with “The Howling” director Joe Dante and horror buff/comic Dana Gould, moderated by Ben Blacker of “The Nerdist” podcast.
