Today is the 20th anniversary of the Northridge earthquake. Not only did dozens of people die and thousands  injured, the 6.7 magnitude quake cause an estimated 20-billion dollars in property damage.  Are we any better prepared today than we were 20 years ago to bounce back from a catastrophe?

Penny and Phil looked back at that day and what L.A. City Fire  learned from that disaster. They spoke with LA City Fire Battalion Chief Steve Ruda:
