Earthquake awareness 20 years after the Northridge quake
Today is the 20th anniversary of the Northridge earthquake. Not only did dozens of people die and thousands injured, the 6.7 magnitude quake cause an estimated 20-billion dollars in property damage. Are we any better prepared today than we were 20 years ago to bounce back from a catastrophe?
