Google has announced on its blog that President Barack Obama will log into Google+ Hangouts in a first-ever presidential virtual whistle stop tour.

The “Presidential Hangout Road Trip” on Friday, January 31, will have the president responding to previously submitted questions from the American public about topics he will have addressed in the State of the Union speech.

To participate in the Hangout Road Trip, record a 60-second video with your name, location, a bit about yourself and the question you’d like to ask. Then post it on YouTube or Google+ and share it publicly with the hashtag #AskObama2014.

Incidentally, Google-owned YouTube will run live broadcasts of the State of the Union address and  the Republican response.
