LA County authorities: Bomb, meth parts at house
PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says investigators found materials for making methamphetamine and explosives at a house in Palmdale.
The department said in a statement that detectives conducting a probation search of the home of convicted felon 25-year-old Michael Debinion on Wednesday found what appeared to be homemade explosives.
The statement says arson and explosives investigators along with FBI bomb squad agents searched the garage and found parts for making both meth and destructive devices.
Debinion was arrested on suspicion of possessing firearms as a felon, and authorities also plan to pursue charges of possession of bomb-making materials and possession of methamphetamine.
