LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The NHL is encouraging fans to arrive early, rideshare, carpool and examine all alternative transportation methods for Saturday’s Los Angeles Kings-Anaheim Ducks game at Dodger Stadium.

Shuttle bus service will be available for ticket holders from Union Station to Dodger Stadium. Dodger Stadium Express buses will leave from the Patsaouras Bus Plaza adjacent to the east portal of Union Station every 10 minutes beginning at 5 p.m., dropping fans off in the Dodger Stadium parking lot behind left-center field.

Service from Dodger Stadium to Union Station will continue until 45 minutes after the game.

Fans coming to the game from Orange County are being encouraged to take Amtrak or Metrolink trains.

The return trip to Orange County is only available aboard Amtrak 796, which is scheduled to leave Union Station at 10:10 p.m. Amtrak will hold the train up to 45 minutes if the game goes into overtime.

Fans taking Metrolink to Union Station need to purchase a separate Amtrak ticket for the return trip from the ticket vending machine.

Fans driving to the game are being encouraged to purchase their parking pass in advance online at nhlstadiumseriesparking.com to assist the traffic flow. Premium parking is $35 and $50 and general parking is $20.

Parking gates will open at 3:30 p.m.
