The ongoing search and investigation of Malaysia Flight 370
Malaysian authorities are expanding their search for the missing jetliner again, after another lead failed to pan out. Planes were sent today to search an area off the southern tip of Vietnam where Chinese satellite images reportedly showed three floating objects. But the searchers spotted nothing. Malaysia’s transport minister says the search area is being expanded because it’s possible the plane could have flown for several hours after its last contact with the ground. With every passing hour and no plane or debris, questions continue to mount.
