New kitten adoption center opens in Long Beach

Been wanting a kitten? You’re in luck. A kitten nursery opened today in Long Beach just in time for the dozens and dozens of kittens that are expected to be born homeless this spring.

The SCPA-LA celebrated the opening with a ceremony at the Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center in Long Beach.

The nursery, called Kittenry Wall-Walkers, features a special kitten room that allows for easy viewing to promote adoption.The eco-friendly items in the kitten room were donated by Wall-Walkers to make the environment fun for the cats.
