Stupid Cancer is raising awareness about young adult cancer with a 14-day, 14-city road trip across the country that will also locally connect survivors, give them a voice and build community.

It started in Boston on April 6th and will conclude in Las Vegas at the annual “OMG! Summit for Young Adults” after tonight’s OC stop and the next in Phoenix.

Tonight’s stop will be at Lucky Strike Lanes Orange, 20 City Blvd. in Orange from 6-9 p.m.

72,000 young adults (15 – 39 years old) are diagnosed with cancer each year. Stupid Cancer is the dominant non-profit healthcare organization giving a voice to the millions of young adults affected by cancer.

OMG2014 will take place on April 24-27, 2014 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, NV. A pivotal healthcare event, OMG2014 is one of the largest gatherings of young adult patients, survivors, caregivers, professionals and advocates in the world. The event inspires thousands to get organized, build community and unite as one to drive change.

Founded by Matthew Zachary in 2007, Stupid Cancer, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is the dominant healthcare brand for those affected by young adult cancer. Stupid Cancer empowers young adults affected by cancer and an estimated three million individuals directly benefit from the innovative and award-winning programs and service annually. The organization serves as a bullhorn for the young adult cancer movement. The charter is to ensure that no one goes unaware of the age-appropriate support resources they are entitled to so they can get busy living. For more information, visit www.stupidcancer.org.
