Joe Guimond

Joe Guimond came to KFWB as a broadcasting major from L.A. Valley College in 1989. He started at KFWB as a desk assistant, eventually being promoted to morning editor in 1993. He became Assistant News Director in January of 2008.

He has won several Golden Mikes, including four for Best newscast as well as for coverage of the Persian Gulf War, the Los Angeles riots and the September 11th attacks.

He loves to spend his time with his family. He’s an avid video-gamer and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
